Cacau has a bachelor’s degree in psychology and is fascinated by human behavior (no need to worry about being psycho-analyzed). Cacau has had such a breadth of professional experiences that that they can’t be easily listed in a short bio. But all experiences have had one thing in common: people management.
Velana has a degree in civil construction and is passionate about sports and healthy living. Velana is delighted to break down gender stereotypes and serve Uliving Rio as the on-site maintenance assistant—showing the Uliving community the power of women to run the world.
Patrick is an unconditional fan of pop culture and is your man for discussions about super hero films. PK does not appreciate monotony and has honed his interpersonal skills in his prior capacity as a barber—where he also learned the art of storytelling and comic timing.
Renan enjoys the company of those who think outside the box. He’s a vegan—but no need to worry, he’s not out to convert the carnivores among the Uliving Rio community (well, perhaps a bit). Renan is an illustrator and during his free time writes science fiction stories. He also enjoys skateboarding for relaxation.

Bia has a bachelor’s degree in gastronomy from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. Bia has also studied literature and taught for several years. Bia believes in the power of education to transform individuals, communities and nations. Bia values collective action, creativity and artisanal production of food and beverages. Bia is attentive to detail, loves Brazilian pop music, loves trying new foods, shopping in street markets, poetry and vivid colors.
Librarian at UFRJ, fashion lover. She’s in love with carnival, colors, does not refuse a samba time, a concert at Circo Voador, a good book and is always looking for a sunset. As a good data manager, she believes that reading helps to build critical citizens.
