From politics to entertainment, check out the best podcasts for everyday life.
The podcast has become one of the favorite tools among university students. The reason? In addition to being easily accessible – they are available on several platforms -, they do not require attention to imagery, they have a variety of themes, and many contain quality information. But what exactly are podcasts?
The term appeared in The Guardian newspaper in 2004 and is a combination of Personal on Demand (PoD) and Broadcast (broadcasting), already showing what would be the distribution methods for this type of content.
Working in a similar way to radios or TV programs, podcasts have a diverse programming that covers the most diverse tastes, talking about politics, health, social issues, pop world, geek universe, real crimes, and probably any subject you can. think.
However, as it is an on-demand service, it is a more selective vehicle for transmitting information, adapted to the tastes of listeners, and can be downloaded in episodes that can be listened to at any time, in any place. This relationship between technology and information generated – and continues to generate – great comfort for young people, especially those who are already in university.
This is because they can search for content that is quite specific to their academic area, but find ways of entertainment and updating at any time of the day: when it's time to wash the dishes, take a shower or take public transport, the podcast is always an option, as it requires only listening and does not distract with images.

And just as podcasts are becoming ever closer to young people, the experience of living together has also been gaining strength, especially in large university centers such as São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Santos and Campinas.
As a solution to these demands, the concept of student housing emerges, such as Uliving, the first and largest chain in the field in Brazil. With fundamentals that value community and experience; innovation; urban impact; and student spirit, it is one of the best housing options for university students looking for convenience, comfort and practicality.
There are already more than 1100 rooms for rent in large cities, located at strategic points and close to public transport stations. The apartment for university students is well lit, furnished and even has the possibility of hiring a weekly cleaning service.
Many of the spaces are shared and planned with the aim of promoting connection between residents, who enjoy internal events for interaction. The experience of a student housing provides friendships and companionship, and is similar to the university dormitory, but it is different due to the reinforced privacy of individual rooms that have the necessary for a healthier university life.
