certainly in summary
After all, in honor of International Women's Day, Uliving listed the 5 best brazilian albums 2018 driven by mines.
All of them haven't left the public eye this year – and you'll understand why.
Firstly…
By the way
1. God Is a Woman, by Elza Soares
The title may even be strong, but the woman behind it is even more so: Elza Soares, 81 years old, gives herself over to rock on her last album and sings about blackness, femininity and independence.
Poetry, good music and attitude certainly make “God is a woman” one of the singer's most authentic productions.
In summary
2. Dona de Mim, by Iza
“Dona de Mim”, Iza's album, arrived to rock the R&B scene. With an unmistakable voice and choruses very catchy, the singer celebrates female power and independence in the album's 14 tracks.
In conclusion: girl power!

3. Sorry, by Duda Beat
Duda Beat, from Pernambuco who arrived to surprise the Brazilian pop scene, certainly ranks third on our list with the album “Sinto muito”.
Its sound is unique, with a pop-indie touch and even a hint of suffering. With so much musicality and sweetness in the lyrics, there was no way not to win over the crowd, right?
Secondly
4. For Bad Days, by Mahmundi
Electronic pop, full of sensitivity, well thought out lyrics. In summary, this is the sound of Mahmundi from Rio de Janeiro.
Her last album, “Para Dias Ruins”, cradles the ears with its tracks full of emotion, which translate the singer's intimacy and experiences.
Transiting between beats and without losing originality, the album lives up to its title and is a great request to brighten up days when we're a little down.

5. Modern Blue, by Luiza Lian
Luiza Lian has her own style that undoubtedly cannot be categorized into any musical genre.
Guitar, electronic and psychedelic rhythms, poetry and the immensity of being a woman: this is “Azul Moderno”, the most recent work by the independent artist from São Paulo.
