Living alone seems like a much more difficult challenge than it really is – especially when you live in a space completely prepared to meet your needs, like Uliving.
Last Wednesday, Uliving was the subject of an article in Jornal Hoje, from Rede Globo, addressing life in the Community and in shared housing, especially in times of COVID-19. And we had the report of three residents – Felipe Zago, who studies law at UFRJ, José (Zé, for the intimate), a law student at Mackenzie, and Héctor, a medical residency student.

The article mentions the Uliving Rio, located in the building that used to house the former Hotel Novo Mundo, one of the most emblematic in Rio. Gisele Bundchen, Juscelino Kubitscheck and Pelé are some of the names that have passed through the hotel. In fact, Pelé was staying there when he scored his thousandth goal.
Felipe said that Uliving “surprised him in a very big way”, mainly because of the security, silence and the Community. Zé, on the other hand, emphasized that the privileged location helps with travel throughout the city, especially on the way to the Unit.
> Immigrant Day: what our foreign residents say
The concept of shared housing had a revival in the early 2000s, with a focus on large European and American cities, as it encourages coexistence, facilitates rental processes, lowers costs and, of course, reduces loneliness. In addition to socializing with other people, Uliving residents have a 24-hour service team available in all buildings. Whether it's an emergency or a conversation, we always have someone available.
And in times of a pandemic, we guarantee the safety of our residents: the products used to clean the common spaces are for hospital use, which guarantees better asepsis and more security against diseases in the buildings. That's what Héctor assured, since “all residents are aware [of the pandemic]” and we are doing our best to ensure everyone's safety.
Our contracts are 100% digital, without bureaucracy and without a guarantor. Did you enjoy the ease of living at Uliving? Did you like what you saw in the article? So come live with us! And follow us on instagram, our profile is @UlivingBrazil.
